I think I have it, I woke up with my eye pasted shut. It's Sunday, no doctor's hours, I don't want to pay a $50 co-pay to go to a walk in, fast track clinic. But damn it's getting hard to see out of this eye:(

DON'T WAIT.. Pink eye CAN be staph... spring for the $50 bucks and actually talk to work it was more than likely work related,,, they should cover the cost....

My doc won't prescribe anything for pink eye for 36-48 hours after it appears. Warm compresses and saline drops. If it is viral it will start to clear up. If it is bacterial, it will take longer.
Sorry to hear of your pasted eye. Been there and done that.

Eww. Go directly to the doc, do not pass go, do not collect, etc etc. Get some prescription eyedrops, wash your hands frequently and DON'T TOUCH!!! Feel better! Until you can get there, use a warm moist compress and regular saline drops. Feel better honey!

sorry to hear about the pink eye! I would get it looked at soon. If any of my kids starts to look like they are getting pink eye, or if anyone evn says that word, I swear I get it. Hope everything works out well!
Remember to wipe from inner to outer corners of the eye(s), every 2 hours while awake, with a warm wet cotton ball, a New cotton ball each time and a separate cotton ball for each eye- warm compresses in between.
