What a weird day!

Yesterday I was with a new partner, since my reg. partner took a day off (planned ahead of time).

What a difference! I had more confidence then I had in a long time, and I even lifted a 200lb patient from the floor to transport level, with my partner of course:) I had a talking to by a supervisor about a paperwork mistake, so now I know the right way to do it. No biggie, just got to make sure I watch for that mistake:)

Now I like my regular partner, most of the time. BUT he doesn't care about "rules" and hates his job etc. He is going down, either he'll quit or they will can his ass. AND I will NOT go with him. So some changes will be made starting Monday. Saturday he said he "does everything" and I do nothing.....a whole lot of bullshit! Yes changes are in the air........

I have a damn cold........nothing horrible, just your run of the mill pain in the head-cold. But it's keeping the flu-shot chasers at bay;) I'll get my shot as soon as I'm over this. I've learned my lesson last year:)

Till Monday........Stay safe people!

Crappy coworkers can make a bad day so much worse. One of the reasons I stay at my job is most of my coworkers are hard workers who are really nice people.

I'm glad you are likely to have a different partner soon if the current one is bringing such a negative attitude to work. Even unpleasant tasks are tolerable if done with cooperative, upbeat co-workers, while nothing can salvage a job if you are saddled with co-workers who take an extra side of crabby with their breakfast before heading off for work.

And now that you know it ain't you
(it's him), all the better.

Thanks:) We are going to have a "talk" today. That is if he shows up for work on time.

Thanks:) It's better, I told him they are cracking down on a few things, and he checked all the paperwork last night. A first for him:)

Lovin your job and hating your job makes all the difference.
