Hahahaha...not THAT kind of "quickie".
I survived yesterday, it went well. I signed more papers than I did to buy our house! I was supposed to go for my uniforms and meet the trainer, but she had to go on calls, they were very busy. All the people I met were very cool, and very funny, it was a good day. I was home by 1:00.
Today I have CPR, and a few videos to watch, go out on a truck, then go to get my uniforms. They are taking me for the uniforms, I have no idea why, but heck whatever. The company pays for two sets, and $50 towards shoes. That's a big help, that stuff isn't cheap! But I do have to have steel toes shoes/boots. Ouch that is going to suck.
That's all for now, more tomorrow!
Stay safe!

Hey! Where's the funny you promised to post? Just kidding. Here is hoping that you have a fantastic weekend!
You Rock!
Oh, Good! Steel-toed boots! That will make kicking ass so much more efficient.
Boots and uniforms? Are you sure you applied for a job and didn't like, get drunk, and join the Marine Corps?
The Funny is comming;)
Yanub- My hubby got VERY excited when I showed him my new boots....very sweet!
JGene- yep uniform, they are very strict, this is one strict ambulance company. No two-bit operation that's for sure;)
If you guys wear cargo pants check out your local army/navy surplus....MUCH cheaper than the uniform places...FYI you will freezeyour toes in the winter, get some good thorlo socks, worth the expense
Kvegas- Yep we do:( But they pay for the first two sets, unless we ruin a pair on the job. Alot of people buy another set, so they don't have to wash them everyday. I'll check out our army navy store!
