Watch what you wish for!

Yesterday my hubby called from work. He never does that (he's too busy). He informed me that his boss is cutting off paying for the employees families' health insurance. Which means $107 will have to be taken WEEKLY out of my hubby's pay. HOLY SHIT! Don't know about you folks, but THIS will slam us into the ground.

So.....as I wished for a new job, I will have to get one. A full time job is in my future. I just hope I can find a decent one. I didn't want to go back to Tech, now I have a reason. The only thing I worry about is picking Jaimie up from college etc. I hope somehow I can swing that without getting fired.

Shit hit the fan, and it flew back and smacked us.............DAMN!

Well that sucks....Sorry to hear of your misfortune. But perhaps you will find a job you really like? Could happen.

That would be my approach too - something BETTER is just around the corner.
Best wishes

Thanks Pinky and Maddy...It stinks but yes, I feel it's a chance to move on. And hell the kids are older, no real reason for a PT job anymore.

Putz- there's good and bad things in real life...if i were you I'd keep reading:)

Where one door closes (or slams in your face) another one opens. Praying for the right opportunity with lots of flexibility, good pay/benefits.

$440 a month for health insurance?

That doesn't sound right at all.

There are much better plans out there for about half that. As long as there are no major health issues.

Hope all works out.

Hammer- this damn company changed insurance carriers 4 times in 8 years! The last one these bozos tried nearly sunk us. Well in a year our kids will be off our plan, but it still sucks:(
