Prilosec, X-Rays, Blood tests...

Prilosec is my new best friend. I started taking it on Tuesday, on the thought that too much acid may be to blame for my tummy whoes. I have an iffy stomach at best and it tends to cause troubles in my lower regions. So I gave this drug a shot and well I'm better. I don't know if I'm cured, but it did slow things down, and I feel more normal now. I'll keep up with yogurt etc. just in case.
Went to the doc and she wanted x-rays to check my lung and ribs. And she wanted blood work to make sure evrything is working fine. I still have some infection in my lower part of my lung, but it's improved. The ribs that hurt so bad are not broken, that's a relief. I'm a little anemic but that should improve with just eating better, since I was limited on what would agree with me. So all in all I am on the road to feeling better. I am coughing grossly again, but that's a good thing. I couldn't cough well before because of pain, but I'm taking meds and it's pretty good now. Back for a re-xray in a few weeks, it was a little early for the re-check.....
Went to meet the Pastor of the church that Jenn (my youngest) wanted to get married in. Turns out he seemed like a pretty cool guy! I liked him, which is rare for me since walking into a church makes me want to scream and run the other way. (I'm a recovering Catholic). The kids are happy with Jenn's choice so it's all good on my end. Two things down.....hundreds more to go:) I have a year yet so on we move to the next wedding thing.....photographer. We have a hall, church, D.J.......and plans to make alot of the wedding stuff ourselves.
This is going to be one crazy year. Oldest graduates in 2009, from college, a month before the youngest gets married. My youngest starts college in the fall......I'm going to go crazy for sure.
On a sad note, my hubby has "the cough" and a fever. He's been battling sinus stuff since Jenn was sick. Last night I heard the cough and knew, he probably has pneumonia. He went to work, said he had to till the guys come to the job at 8:00 am. He better come home and get his ass to the doc. I'm worried, very worried. He doesn't have a spleen ( from an incident when he was 18) and hasn't been all that healthy for a long time. But it may get him to the doc, he never goes and that's bad news.
That's all for now, going to get my morning moving, I'm going back to work (again) today...........tho I'm taking it very easy this time!
