April Fool's Day - TMI

Yep, it's that fun time of year again. Time for all the pranks and LOLs. I sorta like April Fool's Day, but this year I'm going to pass. Evil is not feeling great and I'm home from work, again. Soon I have to call the doc and explain my somewhat embarassing G.I. problems and see if they can help. Also my entire right side of my chest is in agony, I guess I broke a rib or something, it hurts like there's no tomorrow. This sucks, hubby and family are being supportive, but yesterday started demanding that I call the doc. I hate going to the doctor, I hate taking pills, but most of all I hate feeling like a wuss.

This is a depressing rant, I'm sorry, I'm at wits end, a rather sore witts end;)

On a brighter note, youngest daughter is all clear of her pneumonia, and her Hemo doc has declared the lymph nodes in her neck to be fine, nothing to worry about. That's a HUGE relief.

Oldest daughter turned 21 on Sunday, AND didn't drink herself into a coma:) She can now enter all the cool bars college kids go to. But her size and looks may mean she'll be carded till she's 30:) One day she'll be happy about that:)

Tonight me and youngest daughter and her soon to be hubby will meet the Pastor of a church that they may get married in, our church is not performing weddings because they only have a fill-in Pastor. The wedding is next summer...too soon IMO.

Well off I go for now.......more updates on the doc at a later time.

Hi, thanks for stopping over at my blog! A really funny coincidence - One of my girls also turned 21 this past Sunday. Weird huh? Your daughter wasn't born in the Philly suburbs was she - cuz that would be an even weirder coincidence.

I hope you feel better soon!

Geez, Mom, ya got enough on your plate? BTW try moist heat on that chest wall (damp towel on top of heating pad), the coughing from your pneumonia has probably pulled your intercostal muscles (between ribs) and it can feel like a break. When you cough, try to hold a pillow against that side of your chest wall and it will help a bit. Unless you have something better, 800mg of ibuprofen is the prescription dose for that. Lovely to hear of a child that didn't get stone drunk when turing of age! Good for her! I'm also very happy to hear that your youngest is better, I've been praying for her.
GET WELL SOON SISTA!!!

Thanks for the advice! I go for an xray today to check everything out. I'm not too concerned about it except for the pain, I will try the hot compresses tho, why I never thought of that is beyond me.

Mrs. Grimm, welcome to my blog:) My oldest was born in Allentown, I live a wee bit north of there:)
Thanks for the comments, both of you:}
