Milestones.......2008

This is a year for family milestones. Oldest daughter turns 21 this spring, and the youngest turns 18, twenty days later. Yay for family planning!

Here are some hopes and dreams I have for my children;

For my oldest, that she finds happiness, and enjoys all the perks of working so hard these last few years. May all the torment and hardships fade away to a bright new future. That she experiences the best that life has to offer without too many more bumps in the road.

For my youngest, that she never stops reaching toward whatever goal she wants to achieve. To not let her physical problems stop her from finding happiness and satisfaction in her chosen occupation. And for her to realize just how far she's come and how far she can go. And to have a great marriage and a happy family.

I am very proud of my children, both have had to overcome some very real problems, problems that could have easily given them excuses to quit and take the easy road. Neither are doing that, both are very strong young women, and in that strength keeps me going, and makes me a little nuts along the way.

So here's to my kids.........You've come along way babies! Keep up the great work!
