Like the rest of country, PA is HOT, and HUMID, and just plain HORRIBLE! I don't think my hair has dried in three days! YUCK! I do wash my hair daily, but it's too hot to blow dry it. So it seems to be constantly damp. ICK! Good news is that a front is coming! Bad news is it may get nasty, big surprise there. Mother nature makes us suffer, then scares the crap out of us at the end. At least I can say we'll all be happier in the end:)In other news, my oldest had her friend Jimmy stay for the weekend. He's such a nice guy, lots of laughs all around:)
My youngest is moving on in her daily life. It's senior week at her high school, going in late for grad practice etc. She went to the Poconos for their class trip yesterday, and now she looks like a lobster. She'll pay dearly for that sunburn. She still has the shadow of her HPV results lurking in her head. Not so much worried, just "another thing to think about". As if she doesn't have enough already. Her joints have mostly behaving themselves, though her knee is still going the wrong direction. So far the heat hasn't caused any problems for her, but after yesterday she may need to chill and drink fluids to make up for it. She is the only teenager who is "allowed" to eat salty snacks:)
All in all things are going ok. No ER visits, no traumatic pet problems, and bills are getting paid. So I can't complain too much. (Yeah right;) School for me is almost over, and soon I'll have some peace.....:)
Take care folks and stay cool:)

Fingers crossed for your youngest. It doesn't matter how serious or trivial an illness, we always worry about our kids.
CJ xx
Sh!t loads of women have had HPV in their lifetimes with a biopsy and they have been fine. I tell you this to quell your worry. It is a diagnosis like anxiety and depresson. Almost everybody who comes through to deliver a baby has had a bought of it.
Now her leg going the wrong way? That has got to suck. Does the sunburn kick up her Ehlers-Danlos?
Hope she is feeling better.
HAVE YOU EVER thought about how nice it would be to have all that money you spend on medical and bills put into a trip, or a hot tub, or good air conditioning so your hair is not frazzled, or parties, or or your friends, or nice clothes furniture reliable cars....don't have an answer, just thinking about you and daughters
when you say you are melting you remind me of the wicked witch or the north in wizofoz
CJ- that's true:) Thanks :)
Putz- that was one of the pics I was going to use:) And yes about the money. But I have good insurance (that we pay dearly for)
Pink-after all the hype we got the facts:) Now she's pissed she got so upset:) She only worries about having a baby. Her knee is bowing outward and she rolls her ankles. Not much they can do except have her in a brace forever. Not an option since it'll make it weak. So far the sunburn hasn't effected her EDS, just her choice of clothing:)
We're melting too...we spend all this time just waiting for summer and now we are spending afternoons indoors!!
Hope all turns out well for your daughter!
Thanks Kuckie:) Yep summer is sometimes Tooooo hot:)
