The weekend in review.

The weather is finally nice! Yay! I couldn't take another cold rainy day, my bones are just toooooo old;)

Youngest daughter officially started her new job at mega redecorated supermarket. She's a salad bar person, and so far loves it. It's cool she said:) No more McDogshits for her. It's air conditioned (as most stores are), no teenage drama (so far) and the managers are cool. Hopefully this summer won't land her in the ER with blood pressure and heart rate problems. After work she's off to "cabin in the woods" with her fiance' and mega friends (many are adults my age) for some R&R.

Today and tomorrow I get to take my brother to work. I'm not looking forward to the drive. He doesn't have a drivers licence, hasn't in about 29 years (he's 46). He lives with my parents and they left on a trip today. So I get to be taxi driver. My mom gave me a look when both hubby and me said "I guess" when she asked. Sorry mom, I don't look forward to driving him, right smack in the middle of my day and having to cancel plans I had. Maybe the "look" was for me stating, "Sure if he gives us gas money". It's a 30 mile + round trip. Hey we aren't rich and this time of the month is a stinker. I'm sorry if I sound upset, I am, but shit I couldn't say no, I have that much human left in me.

Soon cranky older daughter will be getting out of bed, her father must have woken her up by now. He's been running a table saw since 8:30 AM! Maybe the escape into A-Town will be worth it;)

I better drag myself into the shower before the sparks fly!

Stay safe!

be real nice to your brother, i don't know why he doesn't drive, but if he has problems you need to be sensitive, my boy is 29 and he lives at home cause he is scizophrenic and we drive him because he had 3 accidents in 10 days with three different car

Hey, if he is working then he needs to give you gas money. I am all about being nice and helpful but when you struggle from day to day to figure out how you can afford to pay your gas bill, it's time to pay the piper. Sorry if it sounds mean but it is what it is. Ok now that I probably made somebody mad,I'll shut up. Have a great week!

Thanks for the advice, he ended up cutting his finger at work on Friday and couldn't go. (Now I feel worse).

Putz- he lost his license from DUI's etc.

ELLie-it's completely fair to ask for gas money, he has a job and gas is ridiculously expensive.

All true:) But the cut he recieved on his thumb was nasty and he never went to work all weekend. So I bitched for nothing;)
