"Description: Old photo of some train cars stopped at Packerton Yards. It was so lonely... and had no engine attatched. I would say that it was stopped to be repaired... but Packerton hasn't been in working order in decades. Realism would say that the company parked it there for safe keeping or neglect, but the cars almost seem like they lost their way.
Packerton Yards was torn down last winter.

Awesome lake. I should take some pictures of the ocean one day. It's perty.

We used to have a papermill down here. Trains went through it all the time. It was here since the 1800s, and they tore it down less than ten years ago. So many people lost their jobs and had to move away and such; it was sad. All that's left is a little rubble, an open field, and a few segments of abandoned railroad tracks.

Danny- you should take pics! I hear you on the job losses, our town lost many jobs because of closers......very sad
